Vanilla extract is the most common extract that is called for in dessert recipes. But there are many other extracts that can be used in a variety of culinary creations.

Other flavoring extracts that can be found in most grocery stores include:
peppermint
almond
lemon

Do you enjoy using any of these other extracts? Are there any that you use that I haven't mentioned?
